It may be a planned trip such as a long vacation or something unforeseen like a lengthy hospital stay or family emergency but if the need arises we welcome you to come visit us at Beau's Backyard.

 

Beau's Backyard is a family owned business where your dog can enjoy the peace and quiet of a country vacation. We understand your pet is your life and we will ensure you that the health and well being of your pet is our number 1 goal. They will receive plenty of one on one attention and affection.

 

Our long term boarding package consists of 2 weeks or more in a clean, climate controlled atmosphere where they will have their own room and elevated bed. We encourage you to bring bedding and or a blanket to give him/her the feel of home.

We are a small facility with only 9 rooms and offer with or without runs. Each room is cleaned on a daily basis with a disinfectant that eliminates odors and bacteria. Dogs food and water bowls will be cleaned once daily.

 

We will see to it that each pet will have one hour private supervised playtime alone or with other family members outside in the morning and afternoon weather permitting.

 

It is very important to keep each pet on the same food that they eat at home to prevent digestive upset. We ask that you pre-pack dry food in baggies with their name, date and am. or pm. written on each. If they are on canned food please let us know how many times a day they eat and how much per serving. If your pet runs out of food before pick/up, we offer Merrick Dry Food with a charge of $ 2.00 per day.

 

Toys: We encourage you to bring a favorite toy or ball.

 

Treats: If you wish for your little one to have a treat please make sure their name is on them and quantity allowed each day. There is no extra fee for treat time.

 

Medications: Please have all labeled with pet's name and instructions to administer. There is no extra fee for this service.

 

Bathing: We recommend that your dog have a bath before picking your dog up. Although we pride ourselves on having a very clean facility "dogs will be dogs" and occasionally have an accident. Besides we use the Anivac bathing system that will make them feel "FUR TASTIC".

 

Many pets seem to want to stay after being in such a peaceful relaxed environment. With so much attention from the Jim and Melinda, what pet wouldn't love coming to stay at Beau's Backyard?

 

Feel free to call for an appointment to tour our facility or to make reservations.  Our office is open from 8:00 am. to 12:00 pm and 5:00 pm. until 7:00 pm .

 

To keep your little one safe we ask that you inform us of any behaviors your dog may have such as digging, jumping fences etc.

 

What to bring:

 

• You may want to bring a favorite toy and or ball.
• We supply an elevated cooling cot to rest or sleep on in a climate controlled building.
• If your pet is on full feed or if meal time falls into the hours that they are visiting us, we ask that you bring their food from home with each serving divided into baggies, labeled with their name and time they are to be fed.
• We supply water and food bowls.
• At Beau's Backyard we do not let pets mingle with other pets, unless they are from the same family.
• Bath is $20.00 extra and must be requested at time of drop off.
• Proof from your Veterinarian that your pet is current on vaccines including Rabies, DHLPP, Bordetella.
• Pets will be inspected for ticks and or fleas upon arrival. If found, they will be bathed with a tick/flea shampoo at an additional charge to you.
• For safety purposes we do ask that when entering or leaving our facility with your pet,  that they are wearing a collar with leash.
• All packages are intended for 1 pet only.  Please call for multiple pet discounts.
